There is a Louise Brookes Society dedicated to her work. Great resource. First came the typewriter allowing women to be independent financially, and then came Louise, who showed young women a style of feminine independence in society. She was sexually diverse, a fury to work with, and utterly original in the immediacy of her presence on screen. Later actresses owed her a debt for her insistence on being a real female on screen, expressing dark forces at work in her characters and sexuality.

Just the name Louise Brooks in itself turns me on. It is like the Cadillac of names that stand out in the front of the line. So you know that the sexier the woman is the more she is in favor. Of course, this may not be fair, but all is fair in love and war. This is why some people lose clear judgment, because their minds are full of intense emotions that override rational thinking creating what is called an obsession. An obsession is healthy if it is under control, however, an out of control obsession can lead to unwarranted behavior with regrettable consequences. Similar to blowing up a balloon to much so as to make it pop. This can shatter dreams, so one must keep any and all obsessions in check so as not to go off the cliff. Just her legs drive me crazy though, I mean look at those thighs it is as if God said let there be beauty in woman, because He wanted to make a nice creation to be proud of for a long time. Was she the greatest actress? Well, who cares she didn't have to be, since her assets were enough to make the fans buy the tickets. Also, she could have gone higher and further in the entertainment industry, except she was black balled by the Hollywood money grabbers before her time was over. So here you see the powers in force who determine who stands and falls. But in the end Louise Brooks made in her mark in history, and that is what really counts. I mean is it not better to make a mark versus going out without anyone knowing who you were, or what you stood for? Though, I am a registered Republican who can't wait for November 2, to see the real change for a more conservative body in Washington, I still want to protect the FOREST...

Now listen here there in no denying the fact that she looks better than Grilled Angel Food Cake with Peaches. Anyone who does not agree is full of animosity, or lacks a charming personality. Mary Louise Brooks, generally known by her stage name Louise Brooks, was an American dancer, model, showgirl and silent film actress, famous for pioneering the bobbed haircut. Born in Cherryville, Kansas, Louise Brooks was the daughter of Leonard Porter Brooks, a lawyer, who was usually too busy with his practice to discipline his children, and an artistic mother that determined that any "squalling brats that she produced can take care of themselves". Myra Rude was a talented pianist who played the latest Debussy and Ravel for her children, inspiring them with a love of books and music. None of this protected her nine-year old daughter Louise from sexual abuse at the hands of a neighborhood predator. This event had a major influence on Brooks life and career, causing her to say in later years that she was incapable of real love, and that this man "must of had a great deal to do with forming my attitude with sexual pleasure...For me nice, soft, easy men were never enough -- there had to be an element of domination".
